Heritage Animal Health continues to try and get packages out within 2 to 3 days of orders. However due to unprecedented industry growth and shipping disruptions there continues to be a strain on the supply chain. Disruption and back orders from many vendors/manufacturers can be 2 weeks or more. During this time, some orders may be delayed. This may include some vaccine orders. 

Drop Ship orders from our vendors may require additional transit time. 
Some manufacturers and vendors are still having delays and that results in back orders.
We try to contact customers on these delays by email, please be sure to watch your junk/spam email folders in case emails from us go there.

Carrier Updates:

UPS: UPS is open for business and are shipping packages.

UPS will continue daily deliveries  except where constrained by government restrictions.

** Effective March 26, 2020 , until further notice, UPS has suspended the ‘UPS Service Guaranteed’ ( also referred to the UPS Money back guarantee).

This is for ALL shipments, any origin to any destination. The Service Guarantee suspension for US shipments became effective March 24, 2020.

Should local restrictions or curfews cause UPS service to be disrupted or suspended, a service Alert will be posted at ups.com

Packages could be delayed and this includes vaccine, so please take that into consideration when ordering at this time.

Both UPS and USPS are behind on holiday shipments including Priority packages.
 
USPS Service Alerts:

Despite the global challenges that USPS is facing, USPS remains committed to serving you. Get the latest updates on any service disruptions that may impact you.
Most First-Class Mail and Periodicals will be affected by the new service standard changes. Standards for single-piece First-Class Mail traveling within a local area will continue to be approximately two days. Mail traveling the greatest distances will be most affected, with two or more days of transit time added for some First-Class Mail and Periodicals. 

Priority Mail’s two and three day service commitments now will be extended to three and four days respectively. Customers will continue to receive end-to-end visibility and improved product tracking, as well as up to $50 in free insurance.

With the extra day extension, customers should expect delivery using Priority Mail Open and Distribute (PMOD) to range from two to four days nationwide.

Method of Payment:
We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover, Debit Cards, & PayPal. You can send a money order, cashiers check or personal check. ** Please note that orders made with a personal check will he held up to 14 days to insure payment has cleared. Please provide the driver's license number and state in which issued on the check and a phone number where we can reach you. The customer's name, address and check number must be imprinted on the check. If ordering by phone, please have your credit card number, expiration date and 3 digit code on the back of your card available. Your shipping address MUST matching your credit card billing address or we will not be able to process your order. Credit Card orders will be charged when you order is shipped, Special Orders will be charged when your order is placed. 
 
Filling Orders:
We make every attempt to fill your order and ship your order complete, however at time, products can become unavailable, due to manufacturer back-orders or shortages. Our inventory records are updated daily within our system and may change throughout the day. Please be aware that back orders and arrival times are beyond our control and we strive to always give you the most up to date information. You can always check availability of an item by calling our 800 numbers; 1-800-738-7012 or 1-800-225-7399 during normal business hours. If you have placed an order and an item's expected date has come and gone, please feel free to check with us. Sometimes a manufacturer will have delays and change the back order status, this is beyond our control.
Our fast, friendly shipping department ships most orders the same day they are received, if order is placed before 2:00pm CST, orders received after 2:00pm CST are shipped the following business day, with the exception of Vaccines. See more below on shipping vaccines.

Method of Shipping
Shipping methods include UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air, UPS  2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, USPS Priority Mail, or USPS 1st Class Mail. HI & AK can go UPS but have to chose 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air, However Priority mail is best. PR - Puerto Rico is Priority Mail only.  USPS is not a guarantee, it is approximately 2 to 3 days shipping.
Signatures are not required on packages.
If USPS and UPS claim the package has been delivered then it is considered delivered.

*** Note- UPS does not count the day it is picked up, and they Do Not count week-end days, they Do Not count Holidays. For example if you are a 3 day Ground UPS or a 3-Day Select UPS and you order before 2pm on Monday, you would receive your order Thursday. UPS does guarantee their ship times.
Note - Overnight air orders on Friday are delivered on Monday, as they do not count the weekend.

Shipping Charges:
Shipping is FREE with a $150.00 order or more, shipped by Ground UPS OR USPS within the continental  USA (Our Choice) This excludes any F.O.B.(FOB items are heavy or over sized items with a shipping weight of 8 pounds or more), hazardous, ORMD, APO & FPO address, and over sized packages. If your order is less than $150.00 you pay the actual freight charged. Our fast, friendly shipping department ships most orders the same day they are received, if order is placed before 2:00pm CST, orders received after 2:00pm CST are shipped the following day, with the exception of Vaccines. In order to ensure the protection of vaccines, we prefer to ship all vaccines on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. Because orders shipped UPS Ground can take up to 10 days to deliver, vaccines belong to the purchaser upon leaving Our Warehouse. Vaccines are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please inform your sales person if you require special shipping and packing instructions. Orders are shipped by 'no signature required' Customer must request it to be sent Signature if they want to sign for it. Please allow extra shipping time for products Drop Shipped from the manufacturer. Your order is shipped to you the best way, or the way you have requested when ordering. Shipping rates are based on your location in relationship to our Iowa warehouse, and if you have any FOB.

** Please note - Dewlap Brisket tags may not qualify for free shipping due to the weight of the hasp.
 
Vaccines
All vaccines must be shipped at some time. When placed in an insulated box or foil pack and packed with ice, they can safely be shipped to you even in the summer time. When you receive your order, the ice packs may be melted, but rest assured they have done their job protecting your biological until you use them. Vaccine orders are shipped by UPS. Vaccine orders are not shipped over the weekend, we recommend ordering vaccines as early in the week as possible to assure delivery by Friday.
Before you order, be sure the shipping methods and quantities of vaccines you choose are correct and afford the level of protection you believe you need. We recommend vaccines to be shipped UPS. To shorten your "shipping time" you may choose to have your vaccines shipped UPS Next Day or 2nd Day Air for an additional charge. 
Biologicals are all labeled, use entire contents when opened. All of our handling controls are based upon advice from manufacturer, professional consultation and rigorous internal control procedures.

Due to State Law: vaccines/biologicals CANNOT be sold to residents of Rhode Island.
Due to State Law:  Modified Live Companion Animal Vaccines cannot be sold to residents of Minnesota.

We do not ship vaccines to AK, HI, or PR.
 
Returns and Damaged Freight:
To insure the safety of people and livestock, we do not accept returns of any Syringes, Crossbows, Rifles or Pistols, Darts, Extension syringe or Pole syringes.
Returns:  No returns after 14 days. Please call for authorization within 72 hours of receiving your order before returning any merchandise. Items must be returned in new condition, unused, folded neatly, and with original packaging. If the clothing item had cardboard in the collar or clips on folds, please insure it is returned that way! Any signs of use or wear, will not be accepted for return credit! Used or damaged/opened packages will not be accepted for return, any items returned without authorization will not be given a refund, Once authorization is received, please ship merchandise back to Heritage Animal Health via UPS or Parcel Post. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.   We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages so be sure to insure your  package and keep your tracking information .
Items may be subject to a restocking fee.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
Vaccines and other biologicals, items used for injection, and items requiring refrigeration are non-returnable. Special Order and Drop Ship products are non-returnable.
 
Damages:  If the package becomes damaged during transit, please refuse the package and contact us immediately so we can file a claim and reship the product to you. If you discover damage that was not visible upon acceptance, or notice a shortage, call us within 24 hours so we can correct the problem. Please keep the original container and the damaged product until insurance claims have been cleared. We will gladly issue a credit, refund or replacement for items returned to us. 800-225-7399 or 712-552-2880
 
Changing Orders:
Great effort is made to make sure that all orders are shipped  the same day as received. To achieve this we must get all orders into our shipping department immediately. For this reason, changes and additions cannot be made on orders once they are processed. Any additions will be treated as a new order.

Prices 
We must, with the changes in market prices, reserve the right to change prices without notice. Heritage Animal Health cannot be responsible for typographical errors.  To confirm your pricing, be sure to check with your salesmen when ordering. 1-800-225-7399 or 1-800-738-7012 or email sales@heritageanimalhealth.com.  We reserve the right to limit quantities. We reserve the right to correct any prices printed in error by notifying the customer of any price error prior to shipment of the order. You may cancel the order at that time, or pay the corrected price.

Terms of Service/Conditions of Use:
Despite our best efforts, items on our web site may, on rare occasion, be miss-priced. or may contain pricing, typography, or photography errors. If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation, but we will not be able to honor the miss-priced, typographical, or image error.

Special Orders
We will be happy to special order products for you, and will ship them as quickly as possible, or drop ship from the manufacturer if possible.  Please be very specific when ordering as an Special Orders are Non-Returnable.

Back Orders
We make every attempt to ship your order complete, however at time, products can become unavailable, due to manufacturer back-orders or shortages. We offer the following options.

We can hold your entire order until the back-ordered item arrives.

If you prefer, we can substitute a similar product and ship your entire order immediately.

State Laws
Due to state law, vaccines/biologicals cannot be sold to residents of Rhode Island.

Due to state law, modified-live vaccines for companion animals cannot be sold to residents of Minnesota.

Due to state law Syringes and needles are not for sale in the state of CA, CT, DE, NH, NJ, and New York without a Certificate of Need.

Rhode Island residents must hold a Certificate of Need from the State Health dept or furnish a letter from a licensed veterinarian in order to purchase needles, syringes, or vaccines packaged with needles and syringes.

Some states restrict the use/sale of some insecticides, Please ask your salesperson if you have a question on availability in your state.

Tax Info
Dealers or  Distributors who wish to claim exemption from sales tax, must complete and return a signed Tax exemption form to us.  Exemption forms are available at no charge upon request.  If state sales tax rates change, we will charge accordingly.
 
Hazardous Products
Products classified and identified as "Hazardous" require an additional $30.00 Surcharge and must be shipped ground
