Overview
For vaccination of healthy dairy or beef cattle 7 mos of age or older as an aid in the prevention of pneumonic pasteurellosis by stimulating immunity to P. multocida and P. haemolytica. Dosage: 2 cc IM. A Booster dose is recommended whenever subsequent stress is likely.
Do not treat within 21 days of slaughter. Cattle, inject one 2 mL dose intramuscularly using aseptic technique. Although only a single dose is necessary to confer active immunity, a booster dose is recommended whenever subsequent stress is likely. Healthy cattle should be vaccinated a minimum of 21 days prior to shipping or exposure to stress which may precipitate infectious conditions. Store in the dark at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). DO NOT FREEZE. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient injection site reactions may occur in a small percentage of vaccinates. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.
