Stone Mfg Calf Saver saves newborn calves that have a weak heartbeat
and/or difficulty breathing, Calf Saver delivers lifesaving air to stimulate
lung function. The user inflates the calf’s lungs by blowing into the
mouthpiece; essentially, the user is breathing for the calf. Exclusive
non-return valve prevents the escape of reflux, mucus and gases from the drain
hole. Appropriate length helps prevent blowing air into the calf’s stomach.
Place the rubber throat insert
down the calf’s throat with the ‘V’ of the rubber tube at the top of throat.
Hold the pliable cup over the calf’s nose and mouth while blowing into the
mouthpiece at regular intervals. The non-return valve allows air and mucus
exhaled by calf to escape from the drain hole.
