Respiratory Duration of Immunity has been demonstrated to be at least 182 days for IBR, at least 206 days for BVD (Type 1), and at least 200 days for BVD (Type 2). Calves nursing immune-dams should be vaccinated when maternal antibody levels will allow active immunization.
The product is also recommended for use as an aid in the prevention of fetal infection, including persistently infected calves caused by BVD virus Type 1; as an aid in the prevention of persistently infected calves caused by BVD virus Type 2; and as an aid in the reduction of abortion due to IBR. Reproductive Duration of Immunity has been demonstrated to be at least 217 days for IBR, at least 206 days for BVD Type 1, and at least 112 days for BVD Type 2.
Inject 2.0 mL subcutaneously to healthy cattle 3 months of age or older. Annual revaccination is recommended.
Store refrigerated at 35-45oF (2-7oC). Do
not freeze. Use immediately after reconstitution; do not save partial contents.
Burn the containers and all unused product. Use only in healthy cattle. Do not
vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Do not use in pregnant cows or in
calves nursing pregnant cows. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with
epinephrine. Contains penicillin and streptomycin as preservatives.
