Aluminum canes are for securing goblets for frozen semen and embryo storage and shipping. Most commonly used canes are 10mm and 13mm, 11.25" long. Both are designed to hold either 2 straw goblets or varying numbers of cryovials, depending on cryovial volumes. The 13mm canes are available with a 4 tab configuration or a 6 tab.
The tab is useful for holding the goblet in place as a base stop. The tops of the canes are designed to accommodate colored tabs for identification. See 'Related Products' for the colored cane tabs. The 10mm with a shelf is the most commonly used.
